Portfolio Device Manager
The Portfolio Device Manager provides a centralized view of HVAC devices across multiple buildings, helping facility managers efficiently monitor and manage their systems. Designed for users overseeing large portfolios, this feature enables quick access to device status, operational modes, and environmental data. The Portfolio Device Manager is available exclusively to ConnectStat customers, with access controlled by a feature flag.
Key Capabilities
View all connected ConnectStat thermostats across buildings.
Group devices by building or device type for easy monitoring.
Search for devices by name or serial number to locate specific units.
Portfolio Device Manager feature may not be available to all customers as it’s controlled by a feature flag. To enable this feature, please contact CloudWizards team for further assistance.
Access Portfolio Device Manager
To access Portfolio Device Manager,
Click the drop-down list from the top left and select Portfolio overview.
In the Your Portfolio window, hover over Portfolio View and click Go to this view.
In Your Portfolio page, click Device Manager icon from the left panel.
This will open the the Portfolio Device Manager dashboard page.
Filtering and Device Monitoring
Facility managers can use filters to refine their view and focus on specific data. Filters include:
Buildings: View devices by building, floor, or room.
Connectivity status: Show devices that are online or offline.
Mode: Filter devices by cooling, heating or auto mode.
Alerts: Identify devices with active alerts or view only devices without alerts.
Sorting Devices
In addition to filtering, users can sort devices by clicking on columns names in the table:
Device Name: Sort alphabetically by devices name.
Connectivity: Sort devices based on their online/offline status.
Zone Temperature: Sort devices by current temperature readings.
Alerts: Sort devices based on whether they have active alerts or no alerts.
Customize Table Layout
Users can personalize their view by rearranging table columns. To do this, simply click and drag column names to reposition them based on preferences. This flexibility allows users to organize data in a way that best suits their workflow.
Device Navigation
Users can click on a device to open its detailed device page, allowing deeper analysis. The Portfolio Device Manager also highlights active alerts, enabling facility managers to quickly identify and address system issues. Pagination ensures smooth navigation for portfolios with large number of devices.
